Sweat it out with Table Mountain as your backdrop, kayak alongside dolphins and sail into a South African sunset with a braai on deck. This is the other Cape Town, only with Salt Escapes.
About
Our six-night Cape Town Escape drops you into the other side of one of the world's greatest cities. Most people visit Cape Town to tick off the mountain, the waterfront and the wine. You'll run Chapman's Peak side-by-side before breakfast and end the day on a catamaran with a braai on board. Then there's the rest of it: a kayak safari with dolphins, daily sweat sessions, a luxury villa between the ocean and Table Mountain. And the people you arrived with? They stopped being strangers somewhere between the cold plunge and the boat deck.

Your Week

Check in, explore the villa and take in those views, Table Mountain on one side, the Atlantic on the other. We'll ease into the week with a stretchy yoga flow to shake off the journey and bring the group together for the first time. Then it's time for our welcome dinner. A private chef cooked meal served up with ocean and mountain views, a group of new friends and a shared excitement about an the week ahead. The first of many epic evenings together.

Your week starts the Salt Escapes way. Two big sweat sessions, some recovery yoga, a long lazy afternoon by the pool or beach, and a chef-cooked dinner on the terrace as the sun drops behind the 12 Apostles. The day is designed to settle you into our Cape Town rhythm and give you plenty of time for connection and conversation with your new travel mates.
The Villa
Your villa sits in Camps Bay - the place to stay in Cape Town - nestled between the iconic 12 Apostles mountain range and the Atlantic Ocean. Eight bedrooms, two pools with Table Mountain and ocean views, generous indoor-outdoor living spaces and the kind of laid-back atmosphere that makes your recovery feel as good as the training. Meanwhile, Camps Bay's restaurants, boutiques and beaches are all on your doorstep.

Today it's an early breakfast, then a morning hike up Table Mountain. The views alone make this challenge worth it: the city laid out below, the tablecloth cloud spilling over the edge. Back to our Camps Bay home-base for a colourful lunch and a refreshing dip in the Atlantic. As golden hour in this magical city rolls around, we'll come together for a team workout followed by a sunset South African-inspired feast.

Most drive to Chapman's Peak. We run it, side-by-side, before breakfast. Take in one of the world's most scenic coastal roads: the Atlantic on one side, the mountain on the other, as the morning light hits the water. Back at the villa, it's breakfast, down-time, then functional mobility and breathwork in the afternoon before an evening adventure. And what an evening: a sunset catamaran on the Atlantic with a traditional South African braai on board. The mountain, the ocean, abundant wildlife and the best crew you've ever shared a deck with.

Wake up to a morning team sweat, a big breakfast and then it's into the water for a guided kayak safari - spot dolphins, seals and soak up the raw natural beauty of the city's jaw-dropping coastline. Back on dry land, enjoy some free time wandering the waterfront before another al fresco lunch back at the villa. The afternoon is yours to head to the beach or explore more of the city, before we head out for a special group dinner at one of Cape Town's best restaurants.

Our last full day together means some epic team sweat sessions, a cold plunge recovery, and lots of downtime as a group - soak up the sun on the white sands of the nearby bays, get stuck into a game of beach volleyball, or head over to Boulders beach to visit the famous penguins. Our week together is worth celebrating, so we'll enjoy a final sunset feast at our incredible villa, perhaps with a few special surprises thrown in.

It's check out day, but there's always time for one last morning sweat and a final breakfast feast together before it's time to say our goodbyes. You'll head home feeling tired in the best possible way, full of stories and memories, and already planning the next one with your group of new friends.

“I didn't think it was possible for Salt Escapes to live up to the Instagram hype… but it did!! 5 star accommodations. 5 star meals. 5 star service. But it was the people that elevated the trip to the next level. I have new friends for life.”
“Can't put into words what I experienced during my first-ever Salt Escapes. Pure magic — between the challenging workouts, the incredible homecooked meals, the gorgeous villa, and the amazing staff. This was likely the best week of my entire life.”
“Hands down one of the best holidays I've ever had! Amy and Mike have really created something special. Everything felt seamless — the perfect balance of challenging workouts, relaxation, adventure, and connection.”
“Incredible experience. You will have the most amazing and special week, with strangers becoming close friends within days. The workouts are HIIT focused and fun. It is absolutely not a boot camp. This was my third trip, and I can't wait to sign up for more.”
“This was my first solo trip, and from the very beginning, I felt welcomed and supported. The workouts were challenging in the best way. Guests who started as strangers quickly became lifelong friends. Salt Escapes delivered the perfect balance of training, community, and relaxation.”
“Above everything is the inclusivity of the experience. It felt as though everyone joined in, everyone supported each other through the exercise and everyone had a great time. Rare. Brilliant.”
